We cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for our son Tanner. He tells all of his friends about how awesome Dr. Mark is, and how much he enjoys going to the dentist. When I was told that Tanner would need two extractions, spacers and multiple fillings, I will admit I was very nervous, considering he was only 4 years old. I was not sure how he would do, (or how I would do!). The front office staff put me at ease right away, and was friendly and helpful in answering all of my questions. And Dr. Stevenson, your special way with children, made Tanner feel extremely comfortable and safe. Thank you again for taking such good care of him! I am not a fan of any medical visits these days. I feel the attention to the
patients needs is gone and the focus is on how many patients they can
squeeze in on a day to make the most money possible. Most of my experiences
leave me feeling like a number and my health a distant second. My experience
with Dr. Stevenson was very different.
Dr. S and his staff are wonderful and my experiences there have been nothing
but perfect. I have a very busy schedule and I only have certain times of
the day when coming to the dentist would work for me. Mary at the front desk
was so helpful and understanding of my time constraints and helped us find a
time that worked with my schedule. I also have a heart defect that requires
me to pre-medicate and make sure I take care of stopping any opportunities
for infection to reach my heart....they were very supportive and
communicated very well about the whole process of prevention of any issues.
Once I was there and in the chair, I felt very comfortable with the people
working on my teeth and the environment around me. Being a bigger guy, most
chairs over a period of time, like on a plane, or in a movie theater seat,
or in the dentists chair, become uncomfortable for me. Their set up was
nice, with TV's to keep me entertained, nice chairs and a staff that was
attentive to doing their work, and didn't leave me sitting there any longer
than I needed to be. The hygienist was very gentle and communicated really
well with me. I felt that communication with Dr. S and his staff was good
too. When he came in and gave me my check up, they didn't miss a beat and I
felt that they were really focused on my teeth, my health and making sure
they did a good job. They are a great team there and you really feel they
are looking out for your best interests and your health.
I have recommended two new people in the area go to Dr. S. I know if they
go, he and his staff will make them feel very comfortable and take good care
of their teeth.

I've been a patient of Dr.Stevenson from when he first started his practice. He has handled every one of my problems to my complete satisfaction and he has made me feel as relaxed as can be expected. When I have a dental problem (and they are many when you reach my age of 78), I know Dr. Stevenson will be there for me.

A few "special" things I'd like to share:
When we started discussing what options I had for replacing this front tooth, I was scared. I didn't know all the right decisions to make. I only knew I wanted my smile to be just as it had always been. My comment to you, Mark was: "treat me as if I were your sister, tell me what you'd tell your sister." You did that. I've never been sorry. My smile is still the same- THANK YOU! You took personal care with every step! This day in age, I think you'd be hard pressed to find many health care professionals that would do what you and your "family" do! Mark, you took your Friday off to take me to the lab. You personally saw to it that my implant matched my natural teeth. You drove me to the lab, stayed with me the entire time and never got impatient. Your thoughts weren't "this is my day off" your thoughts were "this is my patient, my extended family." Your and your "family" took my fear away. I was comfortable and confident through the entire process.
About two years before the implant period, I'd suffered a close, personal loss. I was in your office for a cleaning/x-rays. I "fell apart" on Chass. She handled it so well. I don't know why I broke down right when I did. I guess it just all hit me and needed to come out. Whatever, Chass didn't get flustered. she kept her cool, comforted me and still managed to get those x-rays and my teeth cleaned. Funny, the times we continue to get comfort from, even as the years pass. Thank you, Chass!
I have shared these two stories with many people. I think they speak volumes!
Most folks when they reach our ages are already settled with a dentist. However, we have had two friends come to us, asking about our dentist. We've highly recommended your "family"! We know one of them has become your patient. The other one we just gave your name/phone number to last week. We know you'll treat them like family!
This letter could go on and on. People are quick to point out when things aren't right but they are seldom quick to say "thanks! You do fine work!" Joe and I try to let you guys know this verbally but putting it in writing needs to be done once in awhile. That way, if you're having one of those not so great moments, you can get it out, read it and say: "ok, that's why I chose this profession."
After this letter is signed and sealed most likely a dozen other things will come to mind, that could have been shared.
